Born in Seattle, raised in Southeast Asia, and a dual UK/US citizen, I am an independent writer and director. My first feature film, "Knots: A Forced Marriage Story” is an award-winning documentary about forced and child marriage in the U.S. It's also the subject of my TEDx Talk.
I am also a published author, short story writer, and essayist, and have collaborated on several art and media projects, including performing a non-fiction written piece for WordTheatre in London. I graduated from Florida State University Film School, and have lived and worked around the world. I’m passionate about feminist horror, languages, and French Malbec. Currently based in Europe and the UK.
